Rules

How Tower Climb works

Start with one stake of 10 to 100 credits. Clear a floor to grow your run value, then cash out or commit it to the next floor. Earlier wins earn larger returns: the complete reward schedule is shown before entry. A loss moves you to the next lower reward tier; a tie or push keeps your current tier. Floors 1–3 give up to three decisive attempts to win once; floors 4–6 give up to two. Floors 7–10 follow their listed rules. Exhausting the attempts loses the entire run value. There are no checkpoints or paid continues; the only extra wagers are the blackjack doubles and splits below. Clearing floor ten automatically banks your return. Your run value is carried unrounded from floor to floor and rounded down to the cent once, when you bank or reach the summit, so the run value shown is always what banking now would pay.

Ties and pushes replay the same challenge for free and do not use an attempt. A craps attempt is a full pass-line round, including any point rolls. Your choice stays locked through retries, which start a fresh independent game. You cannot cash out during a floor.

Steps that involve no decision play themselves after a short beat: the next attempt, hand or challenge after a result, and craps point rolls. Tap the table or the button to go straight to the next step. Quick play (the bolt, Quick play in the menu, or T) speeds up the dealing and shortens the pauses after each result; it never changes a draw, the odds or a payout. Hit or stand, entering a floor, banking, every route choice, each roulette spin and each craps come-out roll are always yours.

Card reveals go at your pace. Baccarat is dealt face down: tap each card to turn it, or use Reveal all. The whole hand, including any third cards, is drawn when you turn the first card, so the order you turn them in never changes the result. Third cards follow the standard drawing rules and appear once the cards before them are face up. Hold’em: reveal the flop, the turn and the river yourself, with the button or by tapping the board; the house shows its two cards with the river.

Cards & dice

Blackjack: hit or stand; dealer stands on all 17s and checks for blackjack before your turn. A natural beats a non-natural 21. No insurance or surrender. Every card is an independent draw from 52 possibilities, so exact cards can repeat.

Double and split: after the dealer checks for blackjack, you can Double a two-card hard 9, 10 or 11, or Split two cards of the same value. Each adds one extra stake equal to your starting stake, taken from your balance. Before you choose, the button shows what the extra pays for your exact cards and the dealer’s upcard, and how your chance of winning this attempt changes. Each extra is priced to return 99.6% on average before cent rounding (a win pays the shown amount, rounded down to the cent); strong spots pay less, weak spots pay more. Double: you take one more card and stand; the hand is still your attempt. Split: you play two hands. The left hand is your climb hand and decides the attempt; the right hand carries the extra and gets its second card when the climb hand is finished. Split aces get one card each and stand. A two-card 21 after a split is not a blackjack. The dealer turns the hole card only after both hands are played. The extra settles with its own hand: a win pays the amount shown, a push returns the extra and a loss loses it. It never changes your run value, reward tier or attempts. One extra per hand: no resplits and no doubling after a split.

Blackjack reward tiers assume best play, including splitting when that raises your chance; doubling never raises it. If you never split, a blackjack floor returns less than 99.6%: 99.35% on floor 1, 99.24% on floor 5, 98.80% on floor 8, 99.08% on the blackjack summit and on floor 9 with one blackjack challenge, and 98.57% on floor 9 with two blackjack challenges. That last case is a 1.43% house edge instead of 0.4%.

Baccarat: standard Player and Banker third-card rules, independent card draws as above. A tie replays. Returns are priced for your chosen side; there is no separate commission.

Roulette: 37 equally likely pockets, 0 to 36. Zero loses on red, black and dozens. Roulette has no ties. Craps: pass line; come-out 7 or 11 wins, 2, 3 or 12 loses. Otherwise that number becomes the point: make it again before a 7. Craps has no ties.

Hold’em Showdown: two cards each and five community cards dealt from one 52-card deck without replacement. Best five-card hand wins. Equal hands replay. This is a showdown challenge, without poker betting rounds.

Returns & randomness

Random draws use the browser’s cryptographic random source. Each reveal presents the outcome of an actual draw, and the animation never changes it. Refreshing restores the same climb and the cards already drawn. This is a demo-credit build, not certified real-money software.

Demo funds, the current climb and the last 30 climb receipts are saved in this browser tab. Finished climbs are condensed into your balance and receipts, so reloading stays quick in long sessions. Because the balance lives in this tab’s storage and is not checked by a server, it can be edited by anyone using this browser; treat it as a demo counter, never as a verified record. Resetting clears this session and starts a new 1,000-credit balance. Older sessions, if present, are kept separately and are not interpreted with these rules.

Reward update · version 3

Earlier wins pay more.

Win on your first attempt for the largest return. Each loss lowers the available reward; ties keep it unchanged. You can see every reward before entering a floor. All its attempts together retain a 0.4% house edge before rounding.

Your earlier Tower Climb session remains stored separately in this tab. Version 3 starts fresh with 1,000 demo credits; the old balance and run do not carry over.
