02The game
How it plays, and where it fits.
The game
- What the player does
- The player picks a wall of 25, 36 or 49 safety-deposit boxes and how many hold a dye pack, then opens boxes one at a time; every gem raises the multiplier until they cash out or open a dye pack.
- Why players come back
- Mines in a vault of deposit boxes, in real-time 3D: the gem in each box grows with the multiplier, a gem and a dye pack take exactly as long to show, and every wall is dealt from seeds the player can check.
- Round structure
- Multi-step cash-out ladder. One stake, open boxes one at a time, cash out after any gem.
- Session fit
- Quick or long sessions: a round is seconds to a minute. Single player. Good to watch: built for streams.
- Stakes in this build
- 0.10 to 100 demo credits. 0.10 to 100.00 per round.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5x5 25 boxes | 1 to 24 | 256 | 97.28% to 98.00% | 9,100.52× 9 packs |
| 6x6 36 boxes | 2 to 35 | 428 | 97.17% to 98.00% | 9,875.16× 8 packs |

The 5x5 wall is Mines Classic’s maths exactly. On every wall each multiplier is 0.98 divided by the chance of opening that many gems in a row, rounded down to the hundredth, so each of the 1,376 reachable cash-out points returns between 97.1666% (6x6, 3 dye packs, cash out after one gem) and 98.0000%. Any way of playing is a mix of these points, so it returns between the two. No round pays 10,000× or more: where the multiplier would reach that limit, the round banks itself on the last gem before it. The 6x6 and 7x7 walls start at 2 dye packs so the first gem always pays more than the stake. Each wall is dealt in full before the first box opens, from HMAC-SHA256 of the server seed (the Baize RGS scheme); opening a box draws nothing, and Pick for me takes the next number in the same stream.
Pace
1.0 s a round, about 3,529 rounds an hour. Measured in Chrome with every control pressed as soon as it was enabled, so this is a ceiling with no thinking time.
GGR / 1,000 rounds is the theoretical gross gaming revenue from 1,000 rounds at a total stake of 1.00: house edge × 1,000. Volatility is the standard deviation of one round’s total return per 1.00 of total stake. Low under 1.5, Medium 1.5 to under 5, High 5 to under 15, Very high 15 and over. For scale: an even-money roulette bet is 1.00, a straight-up number 5.84.

- Launch URL:

On request
- Stake limits and quick stake values
- Currency label and decimals
- RTP: Formula-based: every multiplier is 0.98 divided by the survival chance, rounded down. A different target return is one constant, but needs new sign-off. Not built as a launch option.
Demo-credit build, not certified. Walls are dealt in the player’s browser today from a provably fair seed pair, the Baize RGS scheme; real-money play moves the seeds to the RGS. See status for what real-money use needs.
