02The game
How it plays, and where it fits.
The game
- What the player does
- Everyone at the table gets the same first two cards and dealer upcard, then each player hits, stands, doubles or splits their own hand.
- Why players come back
- A shared deal that players can talk about, on a fixed round clock, with a low house edge for players who play well.
- Round structure
- Shared timed round. Up to 15 s betting, a shared deal, a decision window of up to 20 s, then the dealer plays.
- Session fit
- Long sessions. Social: everyone sees the same cards. Timed rounds.
- Stakes in this build
- 1 to 100 demo credits. Whole credits, 1 to 100 opening bet; doubles and the split add stakes.

03The maths
Every number, from the code.
| Mode | RTP | House edge | Hit rate | Net win | Volatility (SD) | Max win | GGR / 1,000 rounds |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best play (EV-optimal hit, stand, double and split) headline | 99.43% | 0.57% | 52.37% | 43.29% | Low (1.15) | 8.00× | 5.70 |
Infinite shoe (each card drawn independently), dealer stands on all 17s and peeks, natural pays 3:2, double on any two cards, one split by value (split aces take one card), no insurance or surrender. Numbers assume EV-best play with enough credits for added stakes; typical players lose more. The dealer uses 2.91 cards a round on average.
Pace
28.3 s a round, about 127 rounds an hour (range 25.5 s to 50.9 s). Server round clock: up to 15 s betting (2 s after everyone seated has bet), 2.5 s deal, a decision window of up to 20 s that closes as soon as every seated hand has acted, the dealer reveal (expected length from the exact dealer odds) and 6 s result. The typical figure assumes about 2 s of decisions; it is an estimate, since the window depends on everyone seated.
GGR / 1,000 rounds is the theoretical gross gaming revenue from 1,000 rounds at a total stake of 1.00: house edge × 1,000. Volatility is the standard deviation of one round’s total return per 1.00 of total stake. Low under 1.5, Medium 1.5 to under 5, High 5 to under 15, Very high 15 and over. For scale: an even-money roulette bet is 1.00, a straight-up number 5.84.
